Despite the loss of Burrow, the Bengals' coaching staff remains optimistic, expressing confidence in backup quarterback Jake Browning's ability to lead the team.
Browning, who was the starting quarterback for the Washington Huskies from 2015-18, made his first NFL appearance in the Bengals' Week 1 loss to the Cleveland Browns this season.
In his first game replacing Burrow, Browning completed 8 of 14 passes for 68 yards and one touchdown, and also ran for 40 yards.
