Overview

• The Oct. 7 encounter began when a JSO officer approached Erika McGriff about a running car blocking an intersection outside IDEA Charter School on Bassett Road.
• Available body-camera clips, which contain gaps, show a struggle in which the officer tried control holds, including a headlock and hair-pulling, as the arrest unfolded.
