Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal Return in 'The Accountant 2' with First Look Released

The sequel to the 2016 action thriller will premiere at SXSW on March 8 before its theatrical release on April 25.

The Accountant 2 brings back Ben Affleck as Christian Wolff and Jon Bernthal as his brother Brax, with Gavin O'Connor returning as director.
The plot follows Wolff teaming up with his estranged brother to solve a murder after being contacted by Treasury Agent Marybeth Medina, played by Cynthia Addai-Robinson.
The film will premiere at the SXSW Film Festival on March 8, 2025, before its exclusive theatrical release on April 25, 2025.
The cast also includes J.K. Simmons, Daniella Pineda, and Allison Robertson, while notable actors from the original, such as Anna Kendrick and Jeffrey Tambor, will not return.
The Accountant (2016) became a cult favorite, grossing over $155 million worldwide and ranking as the most-rented digital film of 2017.
