- VIZ Media has announced that the first volume of Yasuhisa Hara's manga 'Kingdom' will be released in English on November 11, 2025, both in physical and digital formats.
- The series, which debuted in 2006 and has sold over 110 million copies worldwide, is set during China's Warring States period and follows the journey of Xin, a war orphan striving to become a great general.
- Despite its massive popularity and adaptations into anime, films, and video games, 'Kingdom' has never been officially translated into English until now.
- Rae First, the English editor for the series, confirmed that the translation will use historically accurate Chinese names and emphasized his dedication to faithfully preserving the story's essence.
- The localization team includes translator Nate Collins and letterers Rina Mapa and Thom Kilcourse, who have already begun work on this highly anticipated project.
