Beloved Manga 'Kingdom' to Receive First Official English Release in November 2025

The long-awaited localization of Yasuhisa Hara's historical epic follows nearly two decades of fan demand and global acclaim.

VIZ Media has announced that the first volume of Yasuhisa Hara's manga 'Kingdom' will be released in English on November 11, 2025, both in physical and digital formats.
The series, which debuted in 2006 and has sold over 110 million copies worldwide, is set during China's Warring States period and follows the journey of Xin, a war orphan striving to become a great general.
Despite its massive popularity and adaptations into anime, films, and video games, 'Kingdom' has never been officially translated into English until now.
Rae First, the English editor for the series, confirmed that the translation will use historically accurate Chinese names and emphasized his dedication to faithfully preserving the story's essence.
The localization team includes translator Nate Collins and letterers Rina Mapa and Thom Kilcourse, who have already begun work on this highly anticipated project.
