Ernst Hilbich, a renowned German actor and cabaret artist, passed away at the age of 93, as confirmed by his family.
He gained widespread recognition through appearances on popular TV shows like 'Am laufenden Band' and 'Zum Blauen Bock.'
Hilbich was also known for his role as Jupp Adamski in the WDR series 'Die Anrheiner' and his voice work in the Augsburger Puppenkiste, including his favorite role as the Sams.
Despite having no formal training in acting, music, or dance, Hilbich began his career at 17 and performed in theater, television, film, and cabaret.
He spent 11 years with the Düsseldorfer Kabarett-Theater Kom(m)ödchen and was the singer of the carnival hit 'Heut' ist Karneval in Knieritz an der Knatter.'
