Belmont Stakes to be Called by Legendary Announcer Tom Durkin in Comeback for Fox Sports

Fox Sports signed an exclusive contract to broadcast the Belmont Stakes.
Tom Durkin will come out of retirement specifically to announce this year's Belmont Stakes for Fox Sports.
Durkin had a 43-year career as a track announcer before retiring in 2014.
Fox Sports approached Durkin about announcing this year's Belmont Stakes, and he agreed to a one-time return.
Fox Sports hopes Durkin's appearance will impress horse racing fans and general sports fans.
