Bella Thorne's 'Saint Clare' to Premiere at Taormina Film Festival

Mitzi Peirone's thriller to open the 70th edition of the historic Sicilian event, featuring an original soundtrack by Zola Jesus.

'Saint Clare' is based on Don Roff's novel 'Clare at Sixteen' and stars Bella Thorne in the lead role.
The film follows a young woman haunted by voices that lead her to kill, culminating in a deeper, darker conspiracy.
Directed by Mitzi Peirone, who co-wrote the script with Guinevere Turner, the film also stars Ryan Phillippe and Rebecca DeMornay.
The world premiere will take place at Taormina's ancient Greek amphitheater on July 13.
The festival will also feature the Italian premiere of Lee Isaac Chung's 'Twisters' sequel.
