Overview

• BEL disclosed Rs 1,092 crore in contracts since Sept. 16 for electronic warfare upgrades, defence networks, tank subsystems, transmit/receive modules, communications gear, electronic voting machines, spares and services.
• The latest wins take the disclosed order book to about Rs 78,600 crore, up from Rs 74,859 crore at the end of June.
• FY26 order intake stands near Rs 11,300 crore as the stock gained in Monday trade and most broker coverage remains positive.
• Media reports describe a Rs 30,000 crore Anant Shastra surface-to-air missile award for six regiments developed by DRDO and to be co-produced with BDL and BEL, which Motilal Oswal says would lift the backlog past Rs 1 lakh crore.
