  • Starting with first trains Saturday, the mid‑section of Line 17, the full initial stretch of Line 18, and a one‑station extension of Line 6 entered trial operation.
  • Line 17 now runs end to end with single‑route service, a one‑way trip of about 66 minutes, and headways of 6 minutes at peak and 8 minutes off‑peak and on weekends.
  • The newly opened Line 17 stations include Dongdaqiao, Yong'anli and Panjiayuan West, while Guangqumenwai remains temporarily closed with trains not stopping.
  • Line 18 operates between Tiantongyuan East and Malianwa with 11 stations and transfers at Malianwa (Line 16), Huilongguan East Street (Line 8), Tiantongyuan (Line 5) and Tiantongyuan East (Line 17).
  • Line 17 uses 8‑car A‑type trains from CRRC with a GoA4 CBTC system by CTEC, and accessibility upgrades opened at Dongsi Station Exit A and Jingfengmen to enable barrier‑free transfers.
