Behati Prinsloo, international model, has revealed that her third child with singer Adam Levine is a boy. This information has been shared nine months after the child's birth and this is the first time the couple has disclosed the sex of their newborn.
Prinsloo described the birth experience as a blend of 'insane pain and bliss', stating that she endured contractions without opting for an epidural or a water birth. She shared details of the delivery on The Mother Daze podcast while talking about her family's life.
Adam Levine, the Maroon 5 star, was present throughout the birth process. The singer cut the umbilical cord, a moment both highlights as special albeit nervewracking. Prinsloo humorously noted Levine's difficulty with the scissors due to him being left-handed.
Despite public interest, the couple has kept their third child's life mostly private, having yet to disclose the baby's name. They only shared a sneak peek of him on a June Instagram Story where Levine was seen holding him in the air, his face intentionally kept out of the photo.
Amid the joyous news, the couple managed to withstand a potential scandal that arose last year when Levine was accused of exchanging flirtatious messages with others on Instagram. While he admitted to inappropriate conduct, he denied having an affair and expressed regret over his actions.
