Bedard and Mrazek Propel Blackhawks Past Avalanche in 3-1 Victory

Connor Bedard extended his point streak to eight games and Petr Mrazek delivered 35 saves to end Colorado's eight-game point streak.

  • Connor Bedard scored a goal and added an assist, marking his 11th goal of the season and extending his career-best eight-game point streak with four goals and seven assists during that span.
  • Petr Mrazek made 35 saves, including key stops on Nathan MacKinnon and Artturi Lehkonen, to secure the Blackhawks' win and keep Colorado off the scoreboard during two power plays.
  • Frank Nazar scored his first goal of the season, assisted by Colton Dach, who recorded his first NHL point in just his third game since being called up from the AHL.
  • Juuso Parssinen opened the scoring for Colorado with an unassisted backhand goal, but the Avalanche's Mikko Rantanen and Nathan MacKinnon both saw their lengthy point streaks come to an end.
  • The Blackhawks' victory marks their second win over the Avalanche this season, with two more matchups scheduled in March and April.
