Overview
- The full Beaver Moon reaches peak phase on Wednesday, November 5 at 13:19 UTC and will be visible worldwide where skies are clear.
 - At just under 222,000 miles (about 357,000 kilometers) from Earth, it is the closest supermoon of the year.
 - NASA notes the moon can appear up to roughly 14% larger and 30% brighter than the faintest full moon of the year.
 - This is the second of three supermoons in 2025, following the October 7 Harvest Moon, with the final one due on December 4.
 - Astronomers say no special equipment is required, the size change is subtle to the naked eye, and tides may rise slightly but not dramatically.
