Overview
- Beats by Dre posted a brief teaser on X Monday titled “Time to catch something new” that shows a Beats Pill speaker alongside Beats and Poké Ball icons.
- The clip uses cartoony flashes, flames, and electric sparks that outlets say point to an electric‑type character, leading reporters to identify Pikachu as the likely tie‑in.
- Earlier this month a Pokémon creator shared photos of an alleged Pikachu-themed Beats Pill box at U.S. retailer Target, a leak that matches the visual style of the new teaser.
- Beats has not given a release date or full product details, so availability and distribution remain unconfirmed even as coverage points to the Pill as the teased product.
- The Pill was reintroduced in 2024 and typically sells for about $149.99 in the U.S., and a Pikachu edition would fit Beats’ history of limited collaborations that drive demand among fans and collectors.
