Bears and Texans to Open 2024 NFL Preseason in Hall of Fame Game

The Chicago Bears and Houston Texans will kick off the NFL's 2024 preseason with the Hall of Fame Game on August 1 in Canton, Ohio.

The game will feature teams with significant representation in the Pro Football Hall of Fame's class of 2024, including Bears legends Devin Hester, Steve McMichael, and Julius Peppers, and Texans legend Andre Johnson.
The Hall of Fame Game, set for 8 p.m. EDT at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, marks the beginning of the NFL's preseason schedule.
Broadcast details for the game will be announced at a later date, with the full NFL regular-season and preseason schedules for 2024 yet to be released.
This will be the Bears' sixth appearance in the Hall of Fame Game, tying them with the Cleveland Browns for the second-most in NFL history, and the second appearance for the Texans.
The Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony will follow on August 3, celebrating the new inductees, including other NFL legends Dwight Freeney, Randy Gradishar, and Patrick Willis.
