• He was a full participant in both practices this week before being activated.
• The five-year veteran played all 17 games for Chicago last season and shared the team lead with 11 special-teams tackles.
• The corresponding move waives Carl Jones Jr., who appeared in seven games on special teams with 10 tackles across 117 snaps and no defensive snaps.
• Ogbongbemiga has 64 career games since entering the NFL with the Chargers in 2021, with 27 defensive tackles, two sacks and two fumble recoveries.
