- Beamish’s 'Remaking Beamish' project drew more than 32,000 community members, 14,338 schoolchildren and 35,000 volunteer hours to create 31 new exhibits
- The museum welcomed over 838,630 visitors in 2024, making it the North East’s most visited paid attraction
- Art Fund chair Jenny Waldman lauded the passion of staff and volunteers and the period-accurate detail across its 350-acre site
- The other finalists—Chapter, Compton Verney, Golden Thread Gallery and Perth Museum—each received £15,000
