- Bealls announced on Oct. 20 that it will enable cryptocurrency payments at more than 660 stores in 22 states through a partnership with Flexa.
- Flexa Payments will allow customers to pay with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, USDC and other tokens using over 300 supported wallets.
- The capability will also be available at Home Centric, the home goods chain operated by Bealls.
- Bealls says it is the first national retailer to accept crypto from any wallet across more than a dozen blockchain networks.
- Flexa says its system integrates directly with point-of-sale infrastructure and provides sub-second settlement for in-store transactions.
