Overview

  • According to the Financial Times, BCG billed more than $1 million to the Geneva-based Maritime Humanitarian Aid Foundation for advising the US maritime aid initiative from March 2024 to February 2025.
  • The Qatar-funded scheme, run by veteran-led group Fogbow, bypassed UN channels before being overtaken by a US military floating pier launched off Gaza’s coast in May 2024.
  • UK MPs launched a formal inquiry and called on BCG to explain its off-the-books aid modelling and billing after two senior partners were dismissed for unauthorised Gaza Humanitarian Foundation work.
  • BCG’s multimillion-dollar contract with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation included modelling plans to relocate Palestinians, drawing criticism that it risked forced displacement and violated aid standards.
  • Palestinian health officials report over 800 deaths near GHF-run aid centres, prompting NGOs such as Save the Children to suspend ties and intensify scrutiny of corporate actors in conflict-zone aid.
