- Emerson, weighing seven pounds 10 ounces, is the first child of parents Jordan and Elijah Hill, who named him after a Seattle Mariners baseball pitcher.
- In the Fraser Health region, a baby boy was born at 12:07 a.m. at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster to Jamie Carballo and Jeremy Borys.
- Victoria General Hospital welcomed Zion Ebo Zormelo-Kika, Island Health's first baby of 2025, also born at 12:07 a.m. and weighing eight pounds three ounces.
- At 11:10 a.m., St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver saw the arrival of Deena Suna, born to parents Uma Suna and her partner.
