- Since swimming from Powell River on May 25 the tagged bear has been observed stalking residents, chasing livestock and breaking into boats for bait
- The bear returned after two relocation attempts last year despite being moved more than 75 kilometres from Sunshine Coast communities
- Provincial ministries are collaborating with First Nations and the Grizzly Bear Foundation while urging the public to report sightings to the RAPP hotline
