• Starting Oct. 15, all vehicles traveling from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay must be booked in advance under the new reservation-only policy.
• Construction at the Horseshoe Bay terminal will reduce vehicle staging capacity by 25% during a multi-year upgrade.
• Saver fares will be expanded to cover 40% of Departure Bay-bound sailings through March 31, 2026 to offer more low-cost options.
• Change fees will be waived for bookings on the affected route from Oct. 15 through Nov. 30 to allow greater flexibility for travelers.
• New digital tools including email alerts and a waitlist feature will notify customers when space opens up, and the 5:30 p.m. Sunshine Coast sailing will shift to 6:10 p.m. to relieve peak congestion.
