Overview

• A first-look trailer aired after Strictly Come Dancing, with Claudia Winkleman warning the cast that their glamorous lives count for nothing and that most will be “murdered.”
• The series will air on BBC One and iPlayer on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9pm following the extended opener.
• Nineteen contestants are confirmed, including Stephen Fry, Tom Daley, Charlotte Church, Jonathan Ross, Clare Balding, Alan Carr, Paloma Faith, Nick Mohammed and Kate Garraway.
• The celebrity edition retains the Traitors vs Faithfuls format and was filmed at a Scottish Highlands castle.
• Companion show Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked will follow on BBC Two and be available on BBC Sounds, hosted by Ed Gamble, while the BBC takes applications for future civilian series after confirming renewals.
