Overview
- The BBC has commissioned a six-part Celebrity Apprentice for BBC One and iPlayer to air later in 2026.
- The series is co-produced by Naked (a Fremantle label) and MGM Alternative UK, with distribution by Amazon MGM Studios Distribution.
- Lord Alan Sugar will front the show and says celebrity candidates will work without PAs, PRs or agents to fully immerse in the process.
- Christmas specials on December 29–30 feature Rob Rinder, Jake Wood, Eddie Kadi, JB Gill, Thomas Skinner, Matt Morsia, AJ Odudu, Kadeena Cox, Charlie Hedges, Sarah Hadland, Shazia Mirza and Angela Scanlon.
- The specials send teams to Lapland to create a gingerbread biscuit for UK retailers with proceeds supporting BBC Children in Need, and producers note such retail rollouts cannot be repeated weekly due to lead times.
