Overview

• Each season will run six hourlong episodes created under Steven Knight’s lead.
• The story shifts to Britain in 1953, centering on a new generation of Shelbys amid Birmingham’s postwar reconstruction drive.
• The series will be produced by Kudos and Garrison Drama, filmed at Digbeth Loc. Studios, and broadcast on BBC One in the UK with Netflix handling global release.
• Executive producers include Steven Knight, Cillian Murphy, Karen Wilson, Martin Haines, Jamie Glazebrook, Jo McClellan, Mona Qureshi and Toby Bentley.
• The TV sequel will follow events of the feature film The Immortal Man, which is in post-production, with casting and release dates yet to be announced.
