• Filming is underway in Wales on the 10-part adaptation of Janice Hadlow’s novel focusing on Mary Bennet’s journey beyond Pride and Prejudice.
• Ella Bruccoleri stars as Mary Bennet with Ruth Jones and Richard E. Grant portraying her parents, Mr and Mrs Bennet.
• Indira Varma and Richard Coyle play Mary’s aunt and uncle, the Gardiners, and the series debuts new characters Ann Baxter and John Sparrow.
• Sarah Quintrell has adapted the novel for television and written nine of the ten episodes under producer Bad Wolf’s oversight.
• The series will stream on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK and on BritBox in North America next year.
