Bayern Munich Goalkeeper Mala Grohs Returns to Training After Tumor Treatment

The 23-year-old goalkeeper participated in partial team training as she works toward a full recovery following surgery in December.

Mala Grohs, Bayern Munich's goalkeeper, resumed training after undergoing treatment for a malignant tumor diagnosed in November 2024.
She had surgery in December and has now begun participating in parts of team training as part of her recovery plan.
Bayern Munich extended Grohs' contract during her leave of absence, showing support for the 23-year-old player.
Grohs has been with Bayern since 2019, winning three German championships and playing in all of Bayern’s Women’s Champions League matches this season before her diagnosis.
She was called up to the German national team last year but had to withdraw due to a tonsil operation and is yet to make her senior international debut.
