The video was uploaded by Nigerian rapper Zoro Swagbag, who was in the passenger seat, and later reported by multiple outlets.
Boniface has not publicly commented on the incident, which follows a serious car accident he was involved in just six weeks ago as a passenger.
Coach Xabi Alonso condemned the behavior, stating it is unacceptable and plans to discuss the matter with Boniface personally.
Boniface is currently sidelined with a thigh injury sustained during international duty, adding further challenges to his season.
