Bavarian Pro Clubs and BFV Launch Alliance to Fund 5,000 Youth‑Coach Trainings

The four-year program responds to a surge in youth sign-ups by funding certified coach training that begins in spring 2026.

Overview

  • The BFV and eight professional clubs signed the Kinderfußball-Allianz on 13 November in Ingolstadt.
  • The alliance will underwrite training for up to 5,000 child and youth coaches over four years, backed by more than €500,000 including the BFV Social Foundation.
  • Every Bavarian amateur club with a children’s program is guaranteed two free training places.
  • Courses will also be staged at professional club facilities as teams open their grounds to host BFV certifications.
  • Registration is open on the BFV website, with the federation citing about 50,000 new child members in two years as the impetus.
