- He told officials he delayed coming forward because he needed time to process the result and does not plan major lifestyle changes.
- The jackpot was not hit because the second Eurozahl 12 was missed, and matching multimillion payouts also went to tickets in North Rhine-Westphalia, Finland and Norway.
