Battlefield 6 Update 1.1.1.5 Removes Drone Exploit, Fixes Lock-On Missiles and Redsec Issues

Community reports pushed DICE to prioritize countermeasure reliability, vehicle spawns and Redsec match flow.

Overview

  • The patch deploys on November 11 at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET for Battlefield 6 and the free battle royale Redsec.
  • DICE removed the levitation glitch that let players ride the XFGM-6D Recon Drone by striking it with a sledgehammer to reach out-of-bounds positions.
  • Lock-guided missiles now interact correctly with countermeasures such as flares, and fixes address vehicles spawning in the wrong locations on Breakthrough and Conquest.
  • Additional map and mode corrections include preventing matches from starting with all sectors active and restoring halftime destruction resets on Siege of Cairo’s Strikepoint.
  • Gunplay and flow improvements include corrected dispersion behavior, steadier ADS after landings and slides, and Redsec fixes for quads match endings, revives, redeploy camera locks, second-chance behavior, UI stats and challenge tracking, fulfilling a quality-of-life update previously signaled by DICE leadership.
