Battlefield 6 Sets One-Week Free Trial for Nov. 25–Dec. 2 After Major Season 1 Update

The weeklong sample highlights California Resistance following an update that reset aim assist and tightened gunplay.

Overview

  • The cross-platform trial runs November 25 through December 2 with access to five modes and three maps from the paid multiplayer.
  • Trial content includes Eastwood, Blackwell Fields, and Siege of Cairo, with modes such as Conquest, Breakthrough, Team Deathmatch, and the limited-time Sabotage, with one additional mode to be detailed.
  • Title Update 1.1.2.0 is live, adding the Eastwood map, the 8v8 Sabotage mode, the DB-12 shotgun, the M357 Trait sidearm, and the Slim Handstop attachment, with Battle Pickups arriving later in the update.
  • DICE reverted aim assist to Open Beta values, improved controller input latency and stick response, reduced unintended weapon dispersion, and delivered over 160 fixes across gameplay, gadgets, vehicles, and progression.
  • Redsec and Portal saw additions including the Rodeo Gauntlet mission, new Prepper Stashes/SCIFs at Fort Lyndon, and a Sandbox map option, while community reaction to the gunplay changes is mixed with calls for broader rebalancing.
