Overview

  • EA confirmed Battlefield 6 will launch October 10, 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S following three open beta weekends from August 7–8, August 9–10 and August 14–17.
  • The game returns to a grounded, modern setting with the traditional Assault, Recon, Support and Engineer classes reinstated after Battlefield 2042’s specialist experiment.
  • A single-player campaign set in 2027 features NATO’s collapse and the rise of the private militia Pax Armata as the catalyst for global conflict.
  • Nine multiplayer maps at launch include a remake of Battlefield 3’s Operation Firestorm and modes ranging from large-scale Conquest to focused Squad Deathmatch.
  • Enhanced Tactical Destruction lets players breach walls and floors strategically, supported by a reported $400 million development investment.
