Battlefield 6 Launches California Resistance Update With Eastwood Map and Aim-Assist Revert

A weeklong trial starts November 25 to reintroduce players after sweeping gunplay fixes.

Overview

  • Title Update 1.1.2.0 is live, kicking off Season 1’s California Resistance phase with the new Eastwood map and the limited-time Sabotage mode.
  • Developers reverted controller aim assist to Open Beta values, improved input latency and stick response, and globally reduced unintended weapon dispersion.
  • The patch delivers over 160 fixes spanning weapons, gadgets, vehicles, maps, and clearer challenge and progression requirements.
  • Two weapons—the DB-12 shotgun and M357 Trait sidearm—are available now, with a vehicle-focused Rodeo mission added to Gauntlet and Portal additions including the Golf Cart and Fort Lyndon content.
  • Battle Pickups are slated to activate later in the update, and a cross-platform free trial runs November 25–December 2 with select modes and maps including Eastwood.
