Overview

  • Battlefield 6 will host three beta weekends on August 7–8, 9–10 and 14–17 with EA Play Pro subscribers granted early access on the first weekend followed by free open beta availability for all players.
  • Developers have opened up their revamped server browser in Battlefield Portal and are asking players to test and refine search filters, match preferences and customization options.
  • A modular install system allows gamers to pick which components—single-player, multiplayer or battle royale—to install, cutting the base download to approximately 55 GB.
  • The title guarantees 60 FPS across Xbox Series X|S and PS5 with performance modes delivering higher frame rates on PS5 Pro and PC.
  • Console-preferred crossplay and ping-first matchmaking will group players by controller or keyboard input and region to reduce latency while skill factors will be applied selectively.
