Overview

• DICE will automatically fill underpopulated multiplayer lobbies with AI bots to preserve full matches
• Players can join any ongoing match to take control of bots mid-game, ensuring continuous large-scale combat
• Preloads for the open beta are now live, with early access beginning August 7 and open testing starting August 9
• After launch, DICE plans quarterly updates and will add classic fan-favorite maps, including Firestorm, based on player feedback
• Battlefield 6 is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 10, 2025
