Battlefield 2042 Introduces Limited-Time Dead Space Outbreak Event

The new mode features a horde-like experience with Dead Space-inspired elements, running from July 9 to July 16.

Players will face waves of 'Augmented Targets' in teams of four, progressing through eight sections.
Exclusive Dead Space-themed cosmetics, including weapon skins and character outfits, are available during the event.
Outbreak mode offers a survival challenge with limited lives and the need to earn points for upgrades.
Despite the crossover, there are no current plans for a Dead Space 2 remake or new game.
The event marks the final season of Battlefield 2042, with no further seasonal content planned.
