- The provisional entry features 12 manufacturers, with HRT Ford Racing fielding a Mustang GT3 and Johor Motorsports Racing entering two Corvette Z06 GT3.Rs for their first Bathurst appearances.
- Team WRT confirmed two BMW M4 GT3 Evo entries, with Kelvin van der Linde, Jordan Pepper and Charles Weerts in one car and Valentino Rossi, Augusto Farfus and Raffaele Marciello in the sister entry.
- Porsche’s factory-backed effort includes Earl Bamber Motorsport with Klaus Bachler, Laurin Heinrich and Ricardo Feller, and Absolute Racing with Matt Campbell, Alessio Picariello and Bastian Buus.
- Mercedes-AMG leads the marques numerically with 11 GT3s from outfits including 75 Express, Craft-Bamboo, Tigani, GruppeM, Heart of Racing and Grove, as the grid draws teams from 12 nations.
- HRT will race the first-generation Mustang GT3 at Bathurst, with the EVO version’s SRO Balance of Performance testing scheduled after the Feb. 13–15 event; further entries and drivers are due before the Jan. 5 deadline.
