Overview
- U.S. couple Tommi Cullen and fiancé Jared Tirocchi found the items while stripping wallpaper in their bathroom and shared the moment on TikTok.
- The taped note, dated September 2008 and signed “Billy,” reads, “This will be the last time I hang wallpaper for Pat. Good luck to Pat’s new victim. I feel your pain.”
- Coverage describes the message as likely a decorator’s joke about frequent re-papering, though that reading is interpretive rather than confirmed.
- The find included an old one-dollar bill and writing on the wall listing former family members’ names and ages, plus a later discovery of an old cough lozenge box.
- The couple say they will frame the note, dollar, and lozenge box and leave a Polaroid in the same spot, as viewers reacted emotionally to the story online.
