Overview

  • A maintenance barge struck a 17-foot sailboat carrying six participants of the Miami Youth Sailing Foundation around 11:15 a.m. on July 28, causing the vessel to capsize.
  • Authorities confirmed that 7-year-old Mila Yankelevich, granddaughter of Argentine producer Cris Morena, and a 13-year-old camper died after being rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
