• Customers must start a full switch in the Barclays app by 11:59pm on Thursday, August 28 to be eligible.
• Eligibility requires opening a Barclays Bank Account or Premier Current Account in the app, completing a full switch with at least two direct debits, and paying in £1,500 within 30 days.
• The Barclays Bank Account also requires joining Blue Rewards, which costs £5 per month, whereas Premier does not carry this requirement.
• Applicants are excluded if they opened a Barclays current account before July 15, previously received a Barclays switch bonus, apply jointly, are under 18, are non-UK residents, or only qualify for a Basic Current Account.
• The £175 is paid within 28 working days and appears as 'Switch Reward', and the Current Account Switch Service moves regular payments within seven working days with Barclays handling the process.
