Overview

• New customers must open a Barclays Bank Account or Premier Current Account in the Barclays app between 15 July and 28 August 2025.
• A full Current Account Switch Service transfer is required, including at least two Direct Debits plus a £1,500 pay‑in to the new account.
• Applicants choosing the Barclays Bank Account must join Blue Rewards at £5 per month to qualify.
• People are ineligible if they opened a Barclays current account before 15 July 2025, previously took a Barclays switching bonus, open a joint account, are under 18, or live outside the UK.
• The switch uses the standard seven‑working‑day service that moves regular payments and sets up redirection, so immediate action is needed before the 28 August cutoff.
