- At 10:00 on November 3, ES-Alert will be tested across Barcelona and the Barcelonès, Baix Llobregat, Maresme, Vallès Oriental and Vallès Occidental areas, reaching phones located there, including travelers, with authorities expecting over five million recipients.
- The alert will sound with a loud, distinctive tone that stops once users interact with the screen, and residents are instructed not to call 112 during the drill.
- The test message will display in Catalan, Spanish and English and clearly indicate that it is a Protecció Civil drill.
