Overview
- During the Paris 2025 closing ceremony, Mayor Jaume Collboni accepted the symbolic Grand Départ trophy and officially assumed Barcelona’s role as host city.
- The first stage will be a 19.7 km team time trial traversing the Fòrum, the Sagrada Família and two ascents of Montjuïc before finishing at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
- Stage two charts a 178 km coastal route from Tarragona to Barcelona via Sitges and the Begues climb, capped by three laps of a Montjuïc circuit.
