- Council leaders also requested that the Port Authority prevent ships linked to arms trafficking with Israel from docking in Barcelona.
- The motion passed with support from PSC, Comuns and ERC, while Junts abstained and PP and Vox voted against it.
- Hamas praised Barcelona’s decision and called on other cities and countries to follow suit in isolating Israel over its Gaza operations.
