'Barbie', 'Oppenheimer', and 'Killers of the Flower Moon' Lead BAFTA Longlists

The 2024 BAFTA Film Awards longlists have been announced with 'Barbie', 'Oppenheimer', and 'Killers of the Flower Moon' leading in a three-way tie, each named in 15 categories.
'Barbie' and 'Oppenheimer' continue their awards season success, while 'Killers of the Flower Moon' joins them with 15 slots, matching last year's record by 'All Quiet on the Western Front'.
Other films with strong showings include 'Poor Things' named in 14 categories, 'Maestro' in 12, and 'Saltburn' in 11.
The final nominations list will be announced on January 18, with the BAFTA Film Awards ceremony taking place on February 18 from London’s Royal Festival Hall.
There is a positive presence of racial and gender diversity in all categories, with Jeffrey Wright, Colman Domingo, Teo Yoo, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Fantasia Barrino, and Vivian Oparah all appearing in the acting categories.
