Overview

• The Reserve Bank of India has scheduled about 15 non-working days in August by combining all Sundays, designated Saturdays and regional and national festivals.
• Banks in Manipur will close on August 13 for Patriots’ Day in addition to the regular weekend off schedule.
• All branches across India will be shut on August 15 for Independence Day and on August 16 in many states for Janmashtami.
• Branch services will pause on designated holidays while ATM services, UPI, net banking and mobile banking remain operational.
• Weekly and full-month holiday lists have been released to help customers verify local branch schedules.
