• The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced a largely unchanged squad with Soumya Sarkar recalled as the only new inclusion from the Asia Cup group.
• Team physiotherapist Bayjedul Islam Khan said Litton is in rehabilitation with a Grade 1 left abdominal muscle strain and will not be available for the T20Is.
• The three T20Is will be played in Sharjah on October 2, 3 and 5, with three ODIs to follow in Abu Dhabi on October 8, 11 and 14.
