Overview
- The Chinese-made F-7 BGI training jet departed Kurmitola airbase at 1:06 pm on July 21 and, after a suspected technical malfunction, crashed into the Milestone School and College campus in Uttara.
- Flight Lieutenant Mohammed Toukir Islam was among the 19 killed after steering the malfunctioning aircraft away from more densely populated areas.
