Overview
- The month-long festival runs from June 20 to July 27 to mark the 165th anniversary of the Grade I heritage station inaugurated in 1864.
- A Shramdaan cleaning drive and station beautification on June 14 prepared the historic premises for the celebrations.
- Western Railway opened art and craft, vlog making, ‘Purani Yaadein’ memory-sharing and badge-design contests, accepting entries via Google Form until June 30.
- The June 20 inauguration included a commemorative postal stamp release and cultural performances, with a Light & Sound Show and Photo Exhibition scheduled for July 5–6.
- Selected entries will be exhibited at Bandra Station on July 13 and featured on Western Railway’s social media platforms.
