Bandra Fair Underway With Road Closures and 374 Extra BEST Buses Ending at Hill Road Park

  • BEST has deployed 374 additional buses on routes 321‑Mary, A‑202, A‑375, A‑422, A‑473, C‑71 and C‑505 between Bandra Station (West) and Hill Road Park, with no services running directly to Mount Mary Church.
  • Mount Mary Road is closed to general traffic, Kane Road and Pereira Road operate one way with limited entry, and St. John Baptista Road is accessible only with valid local passes.
  • No‑parking and restricted zones include Chapel Road, Rebello Road, St Sebastian Road, Mount Carmel Road and parts of Hill Road near Mehboob Studio Junction.
  • The fair runs from September 14 to 21 and draws large daily crowds for worship, street shopping and food stalls around the basilica.
  • The church expects over 1,500 devotees per mass with about 1,300 seats in an outdoor shamiana, and special buses are available from morning until night.
